Commission, council to meet Monday

 Both the Barton County Commission and the Great Bend City Council meet Monday.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes repairs to the scale house at the Barton County Landfill, the placement of traffic signs in Beaver and Cheyenne townships and a force account agreement with the Kansas Department of Transportation for a signage project on county roads.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. he agenda includes Wine in the Wild, the 2015 audit report, a concealed-carry handgun policy update and the Party in the Park.
