The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The meeting will take place in the first floor conference room, room 101. 

It will be open to the public but will also be streamed through Microsoft Teams. Citizens may view the meeting through their own sign-in or by signing in anonymously.

The agenda includes:

•  Construction costs for off-system county bridge that crosses Walnut Creek on East Barton County Road.

• Round one Facade Improvement Grant extensions.

•   9:45 a.m. – Great Bend Economic Development update and budget meeting with Sara Arnberger, president.

• 10:30 a.m. – Medicalodges Academy: A Pathway to Learning and Earning overview with Brian Griffiths, president, Medicalodges.

• 11:00 a.m. – budget meeting with Levi Morris, county attorney. 

• 11:15 a.m. – regular business discussion with Matt Patzner, county administrator.
