County Commission meets Tuesday, City Council meets Monday

 The Barton County Commission the Great Bend City Council will both meet this week.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes establishing commission districts for Barton County, transferring and carrying over 2017 unexpended funds to the capital improvement, equipment replacement and health funds and the inventory of county property.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes a Great Bend retailers report, introduction of America’s U.S. Miss Teen Kansas Laura Daniels and information technology proposals for the city.
