CrossPoint Church members have been busy the past month as they prepare to move from their current location in downtown Great Bend out to Hart’s Corner, south of town.
The first service at the new location will be held this Sunday, Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. Nursery and Children’s Church are provided. The new location is at the corner of U.S. 281 and SE 20 Road, commonly known as Hart’s Corner. To celebrate the move and the season, church members will hold a Thanksgiving Dinner following the service.
CrossPoint is one of a multi-site church based out of Hutchinson, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Andy Addis, a Great Bend native. Each of CrossPoint’s 11 campuses across the state of Kansas has an on-site campus pastor to conduct the specific needs of the local campus. Clay Boepple serves as the campus pastor for CrossPoint Great Bend.
While the sermon each week is viewed on the internet, praise and worship is held at each campus. Worship at Great Bend is led by EJ Shepherd.
“We are very thankful to God for all He has provided us in this move, and we are excited to see all He has planned for us in our new location,” said Boepple. “We invite the community to come celebrate with us and see what CrossPoint has to offer.”
The statement “Love God, Grow Up, Serve All” succinctly expresses CrossPoint’s calling and desire to Love God with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength; to grow in their relationship with God and in maturity as believers; and to serve those both inside and outside their walls in an effort to show the world their love.
