The retirement reception for Dr. Richard Preston has been scheduled for 2-4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center. The event will be held in the atrium in the Medical Office Building on the west side of St. Rose.

"Dr. Preston has been committed to his patients and their families for more than 30 years," said Mark Mingenback, St. Rose director of business strategy and marketing. "He has always been such a wonderful example to all of us, both professionally and personally.

"We encourage the community to show their appreciation by stopping by and thanking him in person at this reception," Mingenback added.

Dr. Preston practiced at Great Bend Internists, which is owned by St. Rose. Patients may choose from one of his colleagues, Dr. Jean Pringle or Dr. James McReynolds. St. Rose is actively recruiting another physician.
