On Jan. 27 the Great Bend Middle School Jazz Ensemble participated in the annual Hutchinson Community College 2012 Winter Jazz Clinic.  Guest artists from Denver, Colo. and Louisville, Kent. were in attendance as jazz clinicians for the high school and middle school jazz ensembles. Three GBMS Jazz Ensemble members received awards For Outstanding Musicianship. They are: Tanya Sanchez-Alto Sax, Blake Stanley-Trumpet and Thomas Bobbitt-Alto Sax.
