Fatality crash in Edwards County

The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to a fatality crash at 9:05 p.m. on Thursday in the 800 block of Colony Street in the city limits of Kinsley.
A 2007 Cadillac DTS driven by Michael Jones, 71, of Kinsley was southbound on Colony Street and for unknown reasons he left the roadway to the right and went through three private yards. Then the vehicle crossed a sidewalk and struck a wooden fence and continued southbound, striking a tree. Jones died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
