Four area teens injured in rollover

ELLIS — Four teenagers from central Kansas were injured Tuesday morning in a one-car accident on Interstate 70 in Ellis County, about half a mile west of Ellis. Kansas Highway patrol reports the driver, 18-year-old Kasey D. Wagner, Great Bend, fell asleep at 7:55 a.m. at the 1999 Cadillac DeVille was eastbound on I-70. The car entered the south ditch, hit a tree and rolled, coming to rest on its top.
Wagner was taken to Hays Medical Center, along with passengers Taylor Ian Schartz, 18, Ellinwood; James Lynn Aumiller, 18, Newton; and Sterling Rayce Miles, 19, Great Bend.
The car was removed to Hays by Reins repair.
All occupants were wearing seat belts.
