A free program for caregivers of senior citizens will be presented at 1 p.m. Friday at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave.
“Age Sense: The Caregiving Journey,” will be presented by Donna Krug, Barton County family and consumer science agent, to help caregivers better manage stress and find local resources for assistance. Caregivers can receive a variety of benefits from taking on the caregiving role, but the experience can also bring challenges and strain. This program is sponsored by the Great Bend Recreation Commission.
