RUSSELL — The Deines Cultural Center, 820 North Main in Russell, will honor its members with a Night at the Deines, from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21. It will be a special evening of delicious hors d’oeuvres and two art exhibits from Great Bend.
Three Potters and Three Painters showcases art from Great Bend artists Beverly Simonson, Carol Long, Mark Freeman, Bambi Freeman, Karen Shaner, and Steve Dudek. The second exhibit, Paintings from Valeri Shiljaev, is a collection of work all the way from Russia, courtesy of Petr Gregorev from Petr’s Frame House in Great Bend.
Renew or sign up for a new membership the night of the event. Those with a 2015 membership will be entered into a drawing for a piece of art. The drawing will be held that evening; you must be present to win.
Admission to the Deines Cultural Center is free.
