GBHS Varsity Debate places 1st
The Great Bend High School debate team competed at the Salina Sacred Heart invitational tournament on Saturday. Two teams competed, one novice and one varsity. Tatyana Badue and Bayle Sandy placed 6th with a 4/1 win/loss record. Bayle said I learned a lot at this tournament and learned what we need to improve on. Aaron Miller and Ashtin Heath placed 1st in the varsity division with a 4/1 win/loss record. Miller said Placing 1st is a good way to make my last year in debate memorable.
