The Great Bend Recreation Commission will present its 27th annual youth summer theater production, “Happily Ever Before” by Tracy Wells, at 7 p.m. Friday at the Great Bend High School Auditorium. The production is free and open to the public. Doors open to the public at 6:30 p.m.

The cast includes 16 children, ages 8-16, who have been practicing for five weeks under the direction of Holly Johnson and assistants Pat Doll and Tammy Bell. 

This year’s cast of performers includes Ella Buzard, Brecklynn Carper, Kaitlyn Froetschner, Brooks Hogan, Sheridan Johnson, Jeslyn Klepper, Vivian Klepper, Caitlyn Kuhn, Anderson Luttrell, Callahan Luttrell, Holly Ann Luttrell, Ivy Peterson, Kimmie Peterson, Brooklyn Reynolds, Madilyn Scheuerman and Janey Weber.  

“A special thank you goes out to all the parents for all your cooperation and efforts, USD 428 and Portraits By Shane,” said GBRC Activities and Enrichment Director Garet Fitzpatrick.
