The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled, “Safety And Security” on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Great Bend Activity Center, located at 2715 18th St. This program will also be held Friday, Oct. 23, at the Sr. Center, located at 2005 Kansas Ave., starting at 1 p.m. Join us and learn some helpful hints on improving your safety and security in today’s society. Other topics will include current issues facing the Great Bend Police Department along with some time for any questions you may have. Great Bend Police Chief Cliff Couch will be the presenter for this program.
