Health Department planning outreach clinics

With this trailer in tow, the Barton County Health Department will hold a series of outreach vaccination clinics around the county next Monday and Friday.

The Barton County Health Department has scheduled a series of outreach clinics across the county next week to offer flu shots, as well as pneumonia shots, and COVID-19 primary and booster vaccinations, Health Director Karen Winkelman said.

The department will bill a person’s insurance for the flu and pneumonia shots. The COVID shots are free.

On Monday, Oct. 10, the stops include: 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Agco Co-op in Susank; 10-11 a.m. at the Fire Station in Beaver; from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Odin Store in Odin; and from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Fire Station in Claflin.

On Friday, Oct. 14, the stops include: 8-9 a.m. at United Ag Services in Galatia; 9:30-10:30 a.m. at City Building in Albert; 11 a.m.-noon at That New Place tavern in Olmitz; and from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the City Hall in Pawnee Rock.
