Barton County Historical Society will meet at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24 in the main museum. There will be a catered meal and social hour for members and potential members. Reservations must be made by Friday, Aug. 15 by calling the museum, 620-793-5125, or emiling bchsdirector@gmail.com. The cost of the meal will be $9.50, payable at the door. It will include pulled beef and pork, potato salad, vegetables and more served by Tom Burns.
