Hoisington’s Labor Day Weekend will starts with the Chamber Ambassador’s Community BBQ and 5th Quarter Beer Garden at the corner of 7th and Main on Friday, Sept. 4.  Sponsored by Country Place Senior Living, Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and Rocking M Radio, the BBQ will be serving from 5-7 p.m.  Enjoy your choice of a hamburger, brat or hotdog with coleslaw, baked beans, chips and ice cream. Iced tea and water will also be served.  
The Beer Garden will be serving adult beverages from 5 p.m. until midnight and is sponsored by Community Bank of the Midwest.
Right across the street from the BBQ and Beer Garden starting at 7, the Hoisington Cardinals football team plays Larned at Elton Brown Stadium. Alumni attending class reunions who tell the gate attendant will receive free admission. The Cards will be recognizing all of the Class Reunions at half-time! This event,hosted by the Hoisington Chamber Ambassadors, kicks off the 119th Annual Labor Day Celebration.
