Kansas Wetlands Education Center hosts summer activities

KWEC will offer drop-in nature crafts on select Fridays in June.

On select Fridays in June, the Kansas Wetlands Education Center will host free nature crafts. Each session will have a different theme. No registration is required. Drop in any time from 1-4 p.m.  

After learning the science behind the theme, participants will create a unique craft to take home. The activities are geared toward ages 5 to 13, but families of all ages are welcome to attend. 

Programs by date:

• June 16 – Birds of Cheyenne Bottoms Shrinky Dink Bracelet

• June 23 – Tree Cookie Ornament

• June 30 – Pressed Flower Lantern.
