The Barton County Landfill will open at 7:30 a.m. and (weather permitting) close at 9 a.m. Tuesday in order to seal roads inside the facility. There is a chance the rain could force this project to be postponed, meaning the landfill would operate under its regular hours, but a decision may not be made until Tuesday morning.

Should the sealing be done, the facility would return to normal operational hours on Wednesday.
