Free fall, injury prevention offered
LARNED — The Pawnee County Health Department is sponsoring a free Fall and Injury Prevention Program for senior citizens in June and July. The program features free in-home safety assessments and free smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

LARNED — The Pawnee County Commission will meet at 10 a.m. Monday at the Pawnee County Courthouse.

LCMHF employees to be honored
LARNED — The Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility will sponsor an all-employee awards and recognition celebration at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 15.
A free employee barbecue will start at 10:45 a.m. Facility tours will be conducted prior to the 1:30 p.m. awards ceremony. Family members are welcome.
Ray Roberts, Kansas Department of Corrections secretary; Johnnie Goddard, KDOC deputy secretary; and LCMHF Warden Doug Waddington will be present.
