Left, Karen Gilkey, 7th District VFW Auxiliary president, and Dwayne Watson, 7th District VFW commander, are greeted by Brenda Mallory, Liberal VFW Auxiliary president.  Gilkey and Watson will serve as president and commander for the upcoming year, striving to help Veterans of Foreign Wars in any way they can.  Gilkey is a member of the Larned VFW Auxiliary and Watson is commander of the Liberal VFW post. The 7th District includes Larned, Ashland, Dodge City, Scott City, Kinsley, Liberal, Elkhart, Garden City and Johnson City.
