Lt. Stephen Billinger from the Barton County Sheriff’s Office will present free Stop ‘N Learn programs on crime prevention this week in honor of National Crime Prevention Month.
The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host the program Wednesday, Oct. 18, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Great Bend Activity Center located at 2715 18th St. The program will also be held Friday, Oct. 20, at the Senior Center located at 2005 Kansas Ave., starting at 1 p.m.
Lt. Billinger will talk about crime prevention, scams, concealed and open carry laws and other topics of interest, taking questions from the audience.
