on BCC agenda

Faculty contract renewals are on the agenda for Tuesday’s Barton Community College Board of Trustees meeting, set for 4 p.m. in Room F-30 on the lower level of the Fine Arts Building. Other items on the agenda include new personnel and reports on Leadership Institute, Faculty Council, strategic planning and workforce preparedness.

Eisenhower to host BOE

The Great Bend USD 428 Board of Education will hold a luncheon meeting at noon Thursday at Eisenhower Elementary. Principal Laurie Harwood and other staff members will share information regarding the academic programs and school improvement efforts.
Action items on the agenda include accepting donations and approving personnel resignations and teacher appointments.

Pawnee Co. burn ban lifted

The Burn Ban has been lifted for Pawnee County as of 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 23. County Information Officer Joel Davis said burning of appropriate and approved materials is allowed at this time in Pawnee County until further notice.
