A teenage girl who was reported missing on Wednesday has been found, Great Bend Police Chief David Bailey said. The missing girl, Alexandria Zendejas, 16, of Great Bend that went missing from Great Bend on Dec. 5. was found on Thursday safe and sound.

At 11:20 p.m. Thursday officers received information that she was in a vehicle on the west end of Broadway Avenue. Officers approached the vehicle and found her inside. She has returned home.

“We at the GBPD are glad that she was located and safe. Thanks for all the help we received,” Bailey said.
