Great Bend City Attorney Robert Suelter announced Thursday that Great Bend Municipal Court sessions for Monday, Aug. 10, have been canceled.

In a statement issued by the city, Suelter stated, “At this time we are playing it safe and only canceling this upcoming Monday’s session. We will re-evaluate pending testing.”

Suelter declined to clarify that statement when contacted by the Great Bend Tribune.

The statement continued, “Further changes may be necessitated. Persons with court scheduled on Monday will be notified of the new appearance date by mail. It is important that the court has the correct mailing address for persons scheduled.”
