Great Bend Regional Hospital announced the birth of its 2018 New Year’s baby. Ezekiel John Stettinger arrived at 7:46 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. 

His parents are Michael and Shara Stettinger, and he entered the world at 7 pounds, 1 ounce and is 21 inches long. He joins his two big sisters at home: Caylee age 5 and Elle age 3. 

GBRH provided the new baby and his parents with two gift baskets along with many good wishes. 

Shara is the office manager at Marketing Maven and Michael teaches seventh grade math at Great Bend Middle School. Grandparents are Barb and Ross Fulton and John and Sherry Stettinger. 

According to Michael, Caylee and Elle are “ecstatic about a baby brother.” He also admits he’s proud to have a son to carry on the Stettinger name. 

Zeke is the third child the couple has delivered at GBRH. Obstetrics Nurse Manager Tracey Post said “it’s rewarding to see families return for subsequent pregnancies and deliveries. Our nurses, hospital staff and physicians are proud to offer the best care possible to these families. Congratulations and welcome to the world Zeke.”
