BUSHTON — Central Plains Middle School would like to recognize Kylie Lamatsch, Aubrey Oberle and Kealy Burris as the April Students of the Month.
Kylie is the daughter of Greg and Sonya Lamatsch and is in the eighth grade. Her siblings are Rachel, Cole, Grace and Scott.
Kylie participates in volleyball, basketball, track, and plays the saxophone in band. Her favorite class in school is English. When asked what she likes best about school, she replied, “Seeing my friends.”
Mr. Mitchum stated, “I feel not only is Kylie a pleasant and kind hearted student to be around but she has been working hard on the 8th grade graduation project and it will be enjoyed when finished.”
Aubrey is in the 7th grade and her parents are Roy and Melissa Oberle. Her siblings are Rory, Kendra and Bridgette.
Mrs. Dohrman stated, “Aubrey comes in to my room every morning to work on math. I never have to remind her. She has shown great responsibility and she has improved because of it.”
Aubrey participates in band, vocal, quiz bowl, volleyball, basketball and track. Aubrey’s favorite subject is art. When asked what she likes best about school, she replied, “Being involved in sports.”
Kealy is the son of Troy and Cindy Burris and is in the seventh grade. Kealy has two sisters, Taylor and Alanna.
Kealy participates in band, quiz bowl, football, basketball and track. His favorite subject in school is PE. What Kealy likes best about school is, “Not being bored at home.”
Mrs. Dohrman said, “Kealy is a student who consistently does the right thing. He shows respect and responsibility in his work and actions.”
