The Great Bend Recreation Commission will hear a report from the playground advisory committee when it meets at 4 p.m. Monday at the Carl Soden Recreation Center, 1214 Stone St. The board will also discuss goals for the coming year. There will be an executive session for discussion of a personnel matter. Board action will be needed in connection with the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) National Congress, set for Sept. 15-17.
