Power Team to speak at area schools

LA CROSSE — Pastor Mark Sizemore of First Christian Church of La Crosse has invited Todd Keene and the Power Team for events that features messages of anti-drug and anti-bullying at Otis-Bison High School at 7 p.m. March 25 and 26 and La Crosse High School at 7 p.m. March 27 and 28 and 4 p.m. March 29.
The Power Team, based in Dallas, Texas, spread the gospel and inspire people around the world to make positive changes in their lives.
Power Team members perform an interactive program beginning with dramatic feats of strength from bending steel bars with their teeth to breaking baseball bats. After grabbing students’ attention, they deliver a motivational message.  Assemblies typically are 45 minutes for middle school and high school students. Local sponsors include Trinity Lutheran Church, Otis; First Christian Church, La Crosse; First Lutheran Church, La Crosse; the Rush County Chamber of Commerce; and Ben Franklin Variety Store.
