Renee Fisher will be the guest speaker for Aglow on Saturday at Perkins Family Restaurant, 2920 10th St. in Great Bend. Fellowship will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the meeting at 9:30 a.m.
Fisher is the wife of Sean Fisher and they have been married for 13 1/2 years. She is mother to five beautiful children. God led them on a beautiful journey, and they recently adopted their fifth child, Levi.
They live in Hays, where Renee works as a Special Education Para at Hays High School. She has been a paraprofessional for many years. She started out working with adults and moved on to children with special needs. She ran her own home daycare for about six years in the middle of it all. Children have been a part of her passion since high school.
“I love to help them learn, figure out how things work and help them succeed in any way,” she said.
Renee enjoys making crafts of all sorts. Along with that she loves making things for people, and likes gardening when she doesn’t have a baby on her hip. Renee has always liked to read and write. Teaching runs in her blood. She doesn’t like being the center of attention but when teaching something that fear goes away.
She loves the Lord and will follow wherever He leads her. Sean and Renee are a part of the leadership team at their church where they attend, Family Worship Center. She has served the Lord her whole life. She has been a youth leader, a Bible study teacher and has given a message at church and spoken at a retreat for college-age girls.
