The Barton County Sheriff Reserves will host their ninth annual Kids Camp on Aug. 27 at the BCSO Range.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to boys and girls 8-14 years old.

Applications will be accepted Thursday and Friday at the Sheriff’s Office. The telephone number is 620-793-1876.

The day’s activities will include:

• Kansas Highway Patrol Rollover Car

• Gun safety and weapon shooting

• BCSO Beast (Entry team and crime scene vehicle)

• Rocco the K-9

• Tomahawk throwing

• Car Stops

The cost is $10, which includes a T-shirt and lunch.
