Winners of this year’s Great Bend Recreation Commission Snow Sculpture Contest have been chosen. Program Coordinator Garet Fitzpatrick said first place goes to the John Kaba family, who submitted three sculptures: A green faced “Chihuahua Eater," polar bear and cub, and a dragon. They win a $25 gift card donated by Walmart. Second place goes to Maci and Ashley Reifschneider, who win a $15 gift card.
