Statewide Silver Alert issued for missing Stafford woman

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide Silver Alert for Stafford resident Amy P. Piper. She has been missing since Friday, March 22. She drives a white 2013 Honda Fit with license tag 214DKS.

Update: On Tuesday evening, March 26, the Stafford Police Department reported that 60-year-old Amy Piper was located and is safe.

 

The silver alert is now canceled. Thank you for your assistance during the alert.STAFFORD COUNTY — On Tuesday, March 26, the Stafford Police Department requested that the Kansas Bureau of Investigation issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Stafford woman.

According to a release by Melissa Underwood, KBI communications director, the whereabouts of 60-year-old Amy P. Piper are unknown and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate her.

Piper is believed to be driving a white 2013 Honda Fit, bearing Kansas tag 214DKS. 

She was last seen in Stafford, Kan. at about noon on Friday, March 22. Her family cannot reach her and they are concerned about her uncharacteristic behavior.

Piper is described as a white female who is 5 ft., 2 in. tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. She has white hair and blue eyes.

Anyone seeing Amy Piper or her vehicle are asked to call 911 immediately. For any other information about her whereabouts, please call the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 620-549-3247.
