Taking a tour The Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist School students went on a field trip to Topeka recently. They enjoyed studying the history of Kansas at the Kansas Historical Museum. Their favorite bit of the past was the old train. After lunch they met with Rep. Bill Wolf (R-Great Bend) and had their photo taken with him after he explained the bill making process. Larry Wills, the singing tour guide, gave an excellent tour of the capital. As he explained each wall mural, he serenaded the group with a song. Pictured are the students, their teacher Dr. Mary Burton and Wolf in the Kansas State Capitol. - photo by COURTESY PHOTO Latest Bicycle Mechanic Workshop for grades 4-12 planned Sunday KDOT announces November bids Deck the Walls: New paint job 'pops' at GBHS gym GBHS presents Vespers Candlelight Concert, more
