The City of Great Bend Public Works Department announced Tuesday afternoon that starting at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, there will be work done in the intersection of Broadway and Washington as part of the Broadway resurfacing project. This means the intersection will be closed for the duration of the day. 

It should reopen in the evening, depending on how the work progresses.

“Please make sure to make accommodation for alternative routes around the work area,” said Sreehitha Kadiyala, assistant city engineer. “Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to work in this area. We ask that you continue to be attentive and careful around these job sites.”
