ELLINWOOD — An Ellinwood woman was arrested Thursday as part of an ongoing burglary and narcotics investigation.
According to the Great Bend Police Department, at approximately 3:50 p.m., the GBPD, with the assistance of the Ellinwood Police Department and the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, executed a burglary and narcotics search warrant at a residence located at 205 N. Wilhelm St. in Ellinwood as part of an ongoing burglary and narcotics investigation.
During the execution of the search warrant, resident Alicia D. Hoeffner, 39, was located inside the residence.
During a thorough search of the residence, methamphetamine, marijuana and items of illegal drug paraphernalia were reportedly located inside the residence. Hoeffner was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Barton County Detention Center, where she was booked and released after posting a $10,000 surety bond.
