Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Wednesday. There were no fires.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A vehicle rolled just south of a bridge on SE 105 Ave. near SE 20 Road at 9:38 a.m. Wednesday. The driver was not injured. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.

After Wednesday night’s basketball games with Cloud County Community College, several people refused to leave Barton Community College. The sheriff’s office dispatched two deputies and a reserve officer shortly before 7 p.m., and the people left. However, deputies were dispatched again at 10:10 p.m., with the message that four or five females needed to be removed from the parking lot, south of the Kirkman Building. At 10:47 p.m., two juvenile females were arrested for criminal trespass. A third female had allegedly cut the tires on another female’s vehicle on campus.

 

Great Bend Police

A BB hole was found in a window at 1204 Main on Wednesday morning, and broken windows at 1104 Main and 1110 Main were also reported.

Theft of a bike from 215 Elm St. was reported Wednesday.

Theft and criminal damage to property at 220 Maple St. was reported Wednesday.

A forgery was reported Wednesday.

A $5.52 gas skip at 3620 10th St. was reported at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday.
