Great Bend Fire/EMS

A fire on a porch at 1400 12th Street was reported at 2:24 a.m. Sunday. Firefighters extinguished a small fire that was under the front porch and around one porch column. They were on scene for about 30 minutes.

Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, nine Saturday, eight Sunday and seven Monday. They also performed a carbon monoxide check on Friday and checked on an outdoor fire report in town at 3:34 p.m. Friday that turned out to be a barbecue grill.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash that occurred a couple of weeks ago in the 2500 block of Fifth Street was reported Monday.

A theft was reported at 1200 Taft St.

Theft of a bike was reported Monday evening at 1433 12th St.

Police received a report of an unknown subject in a residence in the 3000 block of Forest Ave. at 5:43 a.m. Tuesday. He was contacted and left the residence.

A burglary was reported Monday night at 323 Marla St. 2, Great Bend.
