A Hanston man died Sunday morning when he lost control of the semitrailer he was driving in Ness County.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. on 3503 80 Road, 5.5 miles southeast of Beeler. Jason Louis Conry, 31, was driving a westbound 2014 Peterbilt that entered the north ditch. The driver over-corrected, causing the rig to the south ditch, where it came to rest on its top.
Conry was not wearing a seat belt. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
