A traffic stop for a window tint violation resulted in a drug bust Friday morning, the Great Bend Police Department reports.

A GBPD officer stopped a vehicle at 11:12 a.m. near the Discount Laundry, 2201 10th St. During the course of the stop, the officer believed there was the presence of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Kia responded and indicated detecting suspected drugs. The vehicle was searched and items were located in the vehicle.

The driver, Misty Adams, 32, Great Bend, was the only person in the vehicle. She was arrested and booked into the Barton County Detention Center for a Kansas Department of Corrections parole violation warrant to hold with no bond. She was also booked on charges of possession of meth, marijuana and paraphernalia, as well as no proof of insurance and illegal window tint, with bond set at $10,000.
