Great Bend Police arrested 18-year-old Domynick Clone early Monday morning after he led officers on a pursuit following an attempted traffic stop.

According to a GBPD release, at approximately 2:55 a.m. Monday, a GBPD officer was on routine patrol in the area of 2nd Street and Main Street in Great Bend, observed a vehicle driving recklessly in the area and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle.

The driver, later identified as Clone, refused to stop, and a pursuit was initiated. Clone continued driving through the southeastern part of Great Bend, and northbound on Kiowa Road. He continued north on NE 20 Avenue, and out of the city limits. A BCSO deputy joined the pursuit at that time.

Clone eventually pulled over and surrendered without further incident in the area of NE 20 Avenue and NE 30 Road. He was transported to the Barton County Jail where he was booked in lieu of bond. He was later released on a $5,000 surety bond.
