Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters had eight ambulance calls Tuesday and three Wednesday.
At 9:58 p.m. Tuesday units were dispatched to 1500 Cherokee St. to check on an odor coming from the garage. They found the source to be a small electric fire on the underside of the freezer. The power was disconnected to the freezer the fire self-extinguished along with the odor dissipating.

Kansas license plate 384ANO was reportedly stolen from 2535 20th St.

A county resident reported fraudulent charges on a credit card Wednesday.
