Great Bed Fire/EMS
Firefighters made nine ambulance runs Friday, eight Saturday and eight Sunday.
At 4:25 p.m. Saturday, units responded to 212 Chestnut St. for a natural gas leak. A slow leak was found at the meter site and the gas company was contacted.
The only fire call was a false alarm Sunday morning.

Barton County Sheriff
Items were stolen from 1814 Main St. in Claflin, it was reported Friday.
A two-vehicle injury accident was reported at 8:48 a.m. Saturday on NW 140 Ave. and K-96. Three BCSO units responded, along with Great Bend Fire Department Ambulance, a Kansas Highway Patrol officer and a tow truck. No further information was available.
A burglary was reported Saturday at 520 NE 30 Road. The occupant reported coming home after being gone for a couple of days and finding the back door kicked in.
A vehicle hit a deer at 5:55 p.m. Saturday on SE 20 Road and SE 40 Ave.
A vehicle hit a deer at 6:34 p.m. Sunday on NE 100 Ave. and East K-4.

Theft of a stereo from a vehicle at 2308 Franklin St. was reported Friday.
Vehicles driven by Richard Franklin and Ashley Fugitt collided at 11:24 a.m. in the 5800 block of Eisenhower Ave.
A car license tag was stolen from 3910 Cedar Park Pl.
A briefcase was taken from a vehicle at 3700 17th St.
A hit-and-run vehicle hit a fence at 5011 Eighth St.
The driver’s side mirror of a vehicle at 3503 10th St. was damaged.
A vehicle driven by Letisia Camacho was northbound in the 1300 block of Morton St. at 1:23 a.m. Saturday and struck a parked vehicle.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a white metal fence in the 500 block of Third St., near Almond St.
A cow was out near 24th St. at 9:22 a.m. Saturday. It was put back in.
Tires were damaged on a vehicle at 2715 Broadway Ave.
Vehicles driven by Pamela Lichter and Derek Slack collided at 11:47 a.m. Saturday on 10th St.
A vehicle at 919 Main St. was scratched.
A window was broken on a vehicle in the 1300 block of Morphy St.
On Sunday morning, damage was discovered on a vehicle at 705 Stone St.,
Someone damaged the shed at the mini golf course at Walnut Bowl, 3101 Washington St.
