Firefighters made 12 ambulance runs Thursday. There was one false alarm, but no fires.

Someone broke into a semi while it was parked in a lot at South Main and Missouri Pacific St. in Hoisington, it was reported Thursday. Tool boxes and a citizen’s band radio were taken.
A vehicle hit a deer on NE 130 Ave. and NE 100 Road, 1 mile south of Claflin, Thursday morning; the driver called to report it at 3:41 p.m.
A Ford Fusion hit a deer at 5:57 p.m. in the 100 block of West K-4.
A Kia Forte hit a deer at 9:44 p.m. on East U.S. 56 and NE 27 Ave.
A vehicle hit one of several cows out a 12:52 a.m. Friday north of Ellinwood at NE 110 Ave. and NE 40 Road.
Great Bend Police
A 2003 Chevy Blazer with Kansas tag 822ANN was stolen from the parking lot at 3910 Cedar Park Place, it was reported Thursday.
A known person allegedly shoplifted from Dillons, 4107 10th St., and ran out of the store. He was located and served a notice to appear (NTA) in municipal court.
A $38 gas skip was reported at 2302 10th St.
A woman allegedly stole body wash from Walmart, 3503 10th St. An NTA was signed and served around 8:30 p.m., but she was arrested after that for an outstanding warrant.
