Firefighters made 10 ambulance runs on Monday. There were no fire calls.

Raven Kavanaugh, Great Bend, was arrested around 4:10 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Morphy St., after a short foot chase with law enforcement officers. She was booked into the Barton County Jail on two counts of aggravated assault, domestic battery and criminal damage to property, in lieu of $20,000 bond; felony obstruction with a bond of $5,000; and probation violation, with no bond.

An attempted theft was reported Friday at 603 Macarthur Road, Great Bend.
A theft was reported at 11 SE 30 Road.
At 9:05 p.m. Friday, a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper was in pursuit of a red Ford pickup with a white topper, on K-96 and then NW 30 Ave.
A Toyota Camry hit a deer on K-156 at NE 130 Ave., around 6:34 a.m. Saturday.
At 7:50 a.m. Sunday, a motorist from Hoisington reported that a vehicle struck his vehicle and drove away, on North Washington Ave. near NE 30 Road, and that he was following the vehicle.
Buildings were broken into at 582 South U.S. 281, Great Bend.
At 11:14 a.m. Sunday, a Rice County deputy reported he had driven a man who spoke mostly Korean and little English to the Ellinwood city limits. Earlier the man was picked up in McPherson County and driven to Rice County. A records check showed he was 61 years old and from Los Angeles, California; he did not appear to be wanted by the law.
A rollover accident was reported at 4 p.m. Sunday on East K-4 and NE 60 Ave. The driver of the 1990s-model Cutlass reportedly left the engine running and ran into some trees, leaving an open bottle of alcohol in the car.
A vehicle hit a culvert bridge at 4:01 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of NW 20 Ave.
A Cadillac hit a deer at 7:29 p.m. Sunday on K-4, just east of Hoisington.
A rollover injury accident on U.S. 281 was reported at 2:46 a.m. Monday. It was determined that the vehicle, a Ford F-150 pickup, was 3 miles north of Pratt in Pratt County.
Theft of a wallet from a resident of Barton Community College housing was reported Monday.
