Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made 12 ambulance runs on Thursday. In the afternoon there was a fire at SW 10 Ave. and SW 20 Road.

Barton County Sheriff
A possible injury accident occurred around 8:58 p.m. Thursday on SW 50 Ave. and SW 60 Road. The driver said he fell asleep at the wheel of a Chrysler, which did not roll but airbags deployed. He said he was not injured. Pawnee County called with third-party information advising he did roll the vehicle.
A non-injury accident occurred at 9:51 p.m. on NE 50 Ave. and U.S. 56, when a tire separated, resulting in damage to a GMC Sierra.
A Dodge Charger was found in the ditch of South U.S. 281 and SE 50 Road at 4:27 a.m. Friday. The driver had passed out in the car and was arrested at 5:08 a.m. on suspicion of drunk driving.

Great Bend Police
Theft of a cell phone from 1101 Kansas Ave. was reported Thursday.
At 1:26 p.m., a stolen 2012 Chevy Impala was recovered in the 200 block of Chestnut St. (See Great Bend Tribune, Jan. 23.) At 7:18 p.m., an individual reported finding a suitcase and bag full of men’s clothes in that block. The items were booked into evidence.
A vehicle driven by Karen Spreier hit the curb at 4:47 p.m. in the 1900 block of Main St.
Tools were found in the 5900 block of Eisenhower Court and were booked into evidence.
An alleged narcotics violation was discovered at 12:53 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of 16th St. Two males were arrested.
At 6:33 a.m. Friday, hit-and-run damage was discovered to a vehicle that was legally parked in the 5200 block of Broadway Ave.
