Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Monday.

Great Bend Police
Criminal damage to the laundry entrance at 3600 Broadway Ave. was reported Monday. Loss was $30.
An officer took a Child In Need of Care case.
A 9 mm Ruger pistol was reportedly stolen from a vehicle at 5409 Apache Road.
At 5:30 p.m. Monday, the Russell County Sheriff’s Office reported that a vehicle stolen from Great Bend was in Russell County that morning and involved in a burglary; some property was recovered.
Two bicycles were reportedly stolen from 1214 Stone St. They were later recovered at a park.
A known person allegedly shoplifted from 1221 10th St. and left the scene. He was later served a notice to appear in municipal court.
A stolen Dodge pickup was located on NE 90 Ave.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a vehicle parked at 2401 Railroad Ave.
An identity theft case was taken after someone used a man’s information to file taxes.
Theft of a tablet from 5501 Ninth St. Lot 95 was reported.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:28 a.m. Monday at NE 100 Ave. and NE 100 Road.
Someone drove through the pit gates at Second and Washington and bent them.
A sprayer was in a rollover accident at 5:28 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of NW 90 Road. The driver sustained cuts and scrapes, but did not require an ambulance.
A business’s Ram three-quarter-ton truck was abandoned at NE 90 Ave. and NE 220 Road.
