Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made 13 ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires.
There was a false alarm at 7:01 a.m. Friday at the Panther Activity Center (PAC).

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 8:13 p.m. Thursday on NW 60 Ave. and NW 90 Road.
At 10:15 p.m., Haysville Police Department requested assistance. Officers checked on the owner of a van registered to a Barton County resident. The van was in Haysville where it had been involved in a theft. Police reported finding suspected drugs and several IDs in the vehicle.

Great Bend Police
Tires were slashed at 2441 24th St., it was reported Thursday.
Vehicles driven by Stanton Redger and Charles Koelling collided at 7:44 a.m. on 10th St.
Theft from a vehicle at 1444 Broadway Ave. was reported.
Vehicles driven by Erika Hernandez and Larry Koochel collided at 2:10 p.m. in the 2500 block of 10th St.
A skunk was seen in the area of McKinney Drive around 3:10 p.m.
A known person was served a notice to appear in municipal court after allegedly trespassing and damaging property in the 1200 block of Morphy St.
At 8:03 p.m. an individual who was reportedly intoxicated reported his neighbor’s lawn mower was too loud, in the 1200 block of Morton St.
At 12:40 a.m. Friday, an officer stopped a vehicle in the 2600 block of Gano. The driver, who was identified, fled the vehicle and was not found. Possible charges include obstruction, driving with a suspended license and battery of a law enforcement officer.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at 3:11 a.m. Friday on Roosevelt Street for possession of marijuana.
