Firefighters made five ambulance runs Tuesday. There were no fires.

On Tuesday police took a report of theft of a credit card and multiple reports of unlawful use of a financial card.
A vehicle driven by Richard Preston backed into a pickup at 11:09 a.m. in the 4900 block of Quail Creek Dr.
An employee at Great Bend Regional Hospital reported finding a small pink Ziploc bag containing a crystal substance in the  lobby. It was collected as evidence.
The building at 1109 Main, Charlie’s Place, was spray painted and a 29-year-old male suspect was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday.

Barton County Sheriff’s Office
A resident at 5950 Anchor Way, Great Bend, reported Tuesday that someone is stealing packages off the front porch.
Batteries and copper wire were stolen from tractors on a farm at NE 220 Road and NE 80 Ave., half a mile west of Dubuque.
A fraud was reported in the county.
A trespasser was hunting on posted property at 4:16 p.m. Tuesday at 33 SE 35 Ave., Great Bend.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:48 p.m. in the 300 block of North U.S. 281.
A Pontiac Sunfire hit a deer at 10:46 p.m. on U.S. 281, 2 miles from the Russell County line.
