The Great Bend Police Department arrested a suspect Wednesday afternoon in a Tuesday morning aggravated robbery at a residence in Great Bend.
The GBPD had been seeking the public’s help in apprehending Horacio Carrasco-Olivas in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning. The incident in question occurred at around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at 2804 Williams in Great Bend. According to police, three subjects entered a residence, pointed a handgun at the occupant, and reportedly stole a PlayStation console.
Officers located Carrasco-Olivas at a residence at 1919 Heizer St., Apt. A, around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Carraso-Olivas was arrested on charges of aggravated burglary and felony interference with a law enforcement officer. A search conducted by the GBPD also located suspected narcotics at the residence.
Carrasco-Olivas and Aliyson Horniman were arrested and booked on requested narcotics possession charges.
Three juveniles were arrested Tuesday in connection with the aggravated burglary incident and transported to Juvenile Justice Authority.
