Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made three ambulance runs Thursday; a fourth call was canceled while the ambulance was en route. They also provided standby at the Great Bend Farm & Ranch Expo. There were no fires.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:11 p.m. Thursday at NW 90 Ave. and NW 105 Road, Olmitz.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:12 p.m. in the 300 block of NW 100 Road, Hoisington.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury hit-and-run was reported Thursday at the Great Bend Events Center, 3111 10th St.

A crash with possible injury was reported at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 21st and Holland.

A non-injury crash was reported at Holiday Inn Express, 3821 10th St.

Theft of cash was reported at Travelers Budget Inn, 4200 10th St.
